Along with the fabulous farm-to-table dining available year-round here at the Inn at Hastings Park at our Town Meeting Bistro and its associated al fresco dining areas (the Culinary Garden and INNgloo Wonderland), we’re proud to offer special culinary experiences, classes, and events across the calendar. And that very much includes this wonderful autumnal stretch, one of the most blissful and beautiful seasons in New England!
Fall Farm-to-Table Dining at the Inn at Hastings Park
Our Town Meeting Bistro here at the Inn serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as Saturday High Tea and Sunday Champagne Brunch. Its New England-inspired bistro cuisine draws heavily from local farm and fresh-catch bounty, which means it beautifully reflects the seasons.
And, needless to say, fall flavors—from Pumpkin Soup and Roasted Apple Salad to the seasonal veggies paired with our Long Island Duck Breast—are an annual highlight.
Along with the main dining room at Town Meeting Bistro, you can take your fall meal out in the Culinary Garden through October, or on our heated all-weather porch. And it won’t be long now before our winter-ready INNgloo Wonderland opens up…
Upcoming Holiday Teas
We wanted to take the opportunity to spotlight some special holiday-themed high teas coming up at Town Meeting Bistro in the coming months, given you can already reserve a seat—and these tend to be popular affairs!
Dia de los Muertos Tea at Town Meeting Bistro
On October 26th and 27th, we’re bringing back (by popular demand) our Dia de los Muertos Tea, a celebration of the Day of the Dead and of Halloween that appeals to young and old alike.
Enjoy trick-or-treating, cookie-decorating, and other crafts while relishing J’enwey Tea service and a smorgasbord of tea-tower bites: from Churros and Mexican Chocolate Cupcakes to Chiles en Nogada and Jamon, Chipotle, and Avocado Sandwiches. Besides the tea, kids can enjoy hot chocolate and grownups can sip a glass of Schramsberg Mirabelle Rose.
Seatings are at 10 AM, noon, or 2 PM both days. Book your Saturday or Sunday Dia le los Muertos Tea experience ASAP!
Santa Teas at Town Meeting Bistro & the INNgloo Wonderland
Let’s look ahead beyond fall: The two weekends in December leading up to Christmas, meanwhile, will see the return of our beloved Santa Tea, with seatings in both the Town Meeting Bistro and our festive outdoor INNgloo Wonderland.
There’ll be holiday fun in spades—letters to Santa, cookie-decorating, ornament-making, Santa’s Photo Booth—and quite the sweet-and-savory spread to accompany the tea, hot cocoa, and (for adults) holiday cocktails: Figgy Pudding, Cranberry Orange Scones, Peppermint Candy Cane Cookies, Smoked Salmon, Deviled Eggs, Coronation Chicken, and more.
Our Santa Tea will take place December 14th and 15th and on December 21st and 22nd, with seatings at 10 AM, noon, and 2 PM.
And So Much More…
From our Farm to Vine Dinner Series and hands-on cooking and mixology classes to such lavish holiday feasts as our Thanksgiving Day meal and Christmas Eve Grand Dinner Buffet, there’s so much else going on in the culinary realm here at the Inn at Hastings Park in Lexington, MA this fall and winter.
