Historic Helicopter Tour

Have an experience unlike any other: a helicopter tour of Paul Revere’s historic ride. The tour starts at Hanscom Field, a private airport just five minutes away from the Inn.

Pilots fly passengers into Boston over the waterfront, pointing out the location of the Boston Tea Party. The tour then travels over the Old North Church in Boston’s North End. It was on the evening of April 18, 1775, when two lanterns flashed high from the Church’s steeple, a signal from Paul Revere, warning the Patriots that the British were marching “by sea” over the Charles River on a course to Lexington and Concord.

The pilot then points out many Boston sites, both historic and modern, as he heads west to Lexington–Boston Common, Fenway Park (depending on the game schedule), Harvard University and more.

The tour ends with a fly over the Battle Green on which the first battle of the American Revolution was fought at the break of dawn on April 19, 1775, and a fly over the Inn at Hastings Park.
