Lucas Sousa, Executive Chef

A native New Englander with extensive training in some of Boston and Washington D.C’s most acclaimed restaurants, Chef Lucas has cultivated an eclectic cooking style garnered from a variety of influences. Chef Lucas is a product of his large Portuguese family who always came together over great meals flavored from their backyard garden. He also is a product of classical French training and his love for Italian and Southern food. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America who has trained with Barbara Lynch, Ashok Bajah, and Tony Conte, Chef Lucas comes to Artistry on the Green from the Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro where he served as executive chef. At Artistry on the Green, Chef Lucas takes the best from his varied culinary experiences to create simple yet sophisticated cuisine, believing that limiting each dish to a few core ingredients makes the most memorable meals.

Restaurant parking is available in our lot off of Worthen Road. We ask that restaurant guests do not park in our Massachusetts Ave lot as these spots are reserved for overnight guests.

In consideration of our neighbors, please do not park on the residential side streets off of Massachusetts Ave. If parking is unavailable in our Worthen Road lot, restaurant guests can park on Worthen Road toward Bedford Street.
